About Dr. Taylor

Dr. Taylor practices according to the Colossians 3:23 principle that states “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord.”

"I believe every patient I see is a blessing and I have a great responsibility not just to serve my patients, but more importantly to be a good steward for all that God has given.” - Dr. Taylor

Dr. Taylor received his Bachelor of Science degree from Murray State University in 1995 where he majored in Biology and minored in Chemistry. He then continued his education by graduating cum laude from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. He completed his education by attending Vanderbilt University for three years of specialty training in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics.

While attending Vanderbilt, he served as Chief Resident of the Orthodontic department. He is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, Southern Association of Orthodontists, Kentucky Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, Kentucky Dental Association, Louisville Dental Society and a former board member of the Oldham County Chamber of Commerce.

Dr. Taylor coaches various youth sports and is a former board member and current supporter of the Louisville Area Fellowship of Christian Athletics (FCA). He enjoys spending time with family and working outdoors, especially when it involves using a tractor. He and his wife Cindy reside in Crestwood with their four children, Koby, Hannah, Sawyer and Lilly.

"I was told long ago, if you enjoy what you do then you will never work a day in your life. I truly enjoy being an Orthodontist and the gratification it brings in knowing someone who was ever reluctant to smile has the newfound confidence to do just that."
